Student Checking Accounts require a minimum opening deposit of $25.

1Must be a member without a current Avadian checking account and have not closed an Avadian checking account in the past 12 months. Bonus payments will be made to your account in the fifth month following the opening of your checking account. Limit one bonus payment in a 12-month period per Primary member, regardless of how many open memberships you have. For tax filing purposes, you may receive a 1099-INT form associated with the bonus. Member must be in good standing to qualify for and to receive the bonus payment.
 
2Qualifying transactions must be made from your Student Checking Account or associated debit card. Qualifying transactions include online purchases and purchases made using tap-and-go, PIN, signature, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Non-qualifying transactions include transfers, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, returns, refunds, fees, deposits, ATM inquiries, ATM withdrawals, ATM deposits, denied ATM transactions, Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, and Zelle® transactions.
