How to Be Hurricane-Ready

We’re more than just your credit union; we’re your neighbors. And neighbors look out for each other.

That’s why we’ve gathered these hurricane preparedness-related resources into a single place: so you can all have the information you may need close at hand.

  1. Start by reviewing this checklist and taking stock of what you need to before hurricane season even begins (June 1).
  2. Of course, paying attention to the weather forecasts from the National Hurricane Center is important.
  3. If a tropical storm or hurricane is imminent, these action steps will help you prepare to evacuate (if so ordered) or to protect you and your family if you’re not ordered to evacuate.
  4. In the event that your hometown has been affected by a storm, here are some safety tips for returning home and helping out around town.
